Meet ~ Zorro Gronkowski

Zorro was the one that started it all.  He was whelped in Georgia December 1, 2021.  He is full 100% European Mantle Great Dane.  His dad Max was a direct import from Poland.  Before we decided to breed him we looked into showing him because he was perfect in every way.  Perfect structure and just a specimen of a Great Dane with a gorgeous thick head.  When we figured out how much time it takes to stay involved and show a dog, we decided that was not for us.  But we have zero doubt he would take home many championships had we gone this route.  The pictures shown on this site were taken in 2023 so he has put on some healthy weight now that he is almost 3 years old as of this writing.  He has been fully health tested and has passed all with flying colors.  Currently he weighs about 163 pounds and is roughly 34+ inches at the withers.    

 He is full of life and happiness.  In a home with 7 danes, the dynamic is fun to watch.  Zorro is the leader of the pack without a doubt and while he used to be more ready to chase deer and squirrels on the property he has relinquished this duty to his best lady Xena.  He now sits proud on the top of the hill and does more observing than anything.  His favorite thing while outside now is to just watch birds and planes fly around in the sky.  He's a big affectionate lap dog in the house.  If the others barge in and demand attention from us hoomans, he goes to the other side of the couch and puts on a sad pouty face. 

 He has already sired litter A & litter B with his best girl Xena Dream.  Together they have produced absolutely stunning litters and we have been thrilled to watch his children grow into healthy happy pups located throughout 10 plus states from Georgia to Maryland and as far west as Montana.  Zorro & Xena are expected to produce their final litter around the end of 2025.  Do not miss out on an opportunity to welcome one of these perfect great danes into your home.   

Zorro was one lonely pup.  It was very obvious he needed a playmate.  We scoured the country for a reputable breeder, champion lines and health number 1 on the list.  Xena Dream was a dream pup.  She had perfect harlequin markings, parents health tested with a champion bloodline to boot.  When she was approaching two years old we had her health tested and she was perfection.  We didn't expect anything less.  As far as size & type, Xena is about 75% European and 25% American.  She is one of the most solid females pound for pound we have.  She weighs in at 145 to 150 lbs and is 32" at the withers.  Not small at all.  

She is a diva plain and simple.  She is the queen of the house and all the males love her and the females think of her as mommy.  She gets along so well and plays hard.  She is full of joy at all times.  She's not quite as much of a lap dog but she does love affection from us.  She loves being pet but she doesn't come and invade our personal space and she kind of prefers to rest peacefully by our sides.  She gets along with absolutely everyone and one of her favorite things to go out shopping with mom.  She thrives on the attention in public.  And boy does she have a proud strut to her like no other.  It's very obvious she comes from show lines.  It's a shame we don't have the time to show her.  Again, like her main man Zorro, no doubt she would dominate in the arena.  

Zorro.  Xena is his queen.  Seeing them play and even hunt deer and squirrel together is breathtaking. No animals have been harmed although Zorro was sprayed by a skunk.  They have produced absolutely stunning litters.  Litter A is currently turning 1 year old, November 2024.  Litter B is about 5 months old.  Their children live across 7 states.  

Drago hails from Austria and the Austria Great Stars program.  Obviously he is 100% European.  Sadly Austria Great Stars have retired but we were lucky enough to get him from their last litter.  His dad is "Born To Win".  He is a Eroupean Grand Champion.  His mother also has Grand Champions on her side.  He has been health tested and he's got a clean bill of health.  He weighs around 180 to 185 lbs and is 36" at the withers.  Believe it or not he would have been bigger but he had three surgeries on his stomach and intestines at 9 months and just over a year old during his serious growth stages.  He ate a toy rope to start, then he found someone's sock.  Thank the Lord we were able to save him & Thank goodness he has grown out of that stage.   We love him DEARLY!!

He is a shadow.  He is absolutely the most demanding of one's affection but then again that is typical of Danes, especially the Europeans.  He will sit on everyones lap, the stairs, the other dogs heads.  He is extremely powerful but he is the most gentle and loving boy.  He grooms all the other dogs and licks their eyes, faces, drool you name it.  He gets most excited when daddy or mommy comes home or when it's time to eat.  He is a baby that loves the attention when out on the town.  The reactions from people in town are hilarious.   He's typically the biggest dog they have ever seen.  But he is a baby through and through.  We are super excited to see what he produces. 

Reign.  There colors go together like peas and carrots.  They about look each eye to eye as they are both tall.  They love each other very much and they did grow up together from about 16 weeks and 10 weeks old.  Drago carries pie, blue & harl of course while Reign carries Pie and Harlequin.  We expect standard piebald, blue piebald, Harlequin, blue Harelquin and mantles.  

Reign is a big beauty that came to us from Land De Black & White out of Mississippi.  She has amazing genes from those such as "Lycan The Legend" of Lauer Danes and Monte of Chicago Danes!  The doctor has called her a swiss army knife with her perfect hips.  She hasn't had all of her health testing done because she had not had her first heat until nearly two years old just starting last week!!  We honestly counted her out on producing but she has surprised us and she is now a lady!!  She is a beauty and a behemoth of a female great dane.  She is 35" tall at the withers!!  She still has adult weight & muscle to put on but she currently weighs 167 lbs.  

She is an absolute baby and gentle giant in every sense of the phrase.  She is always seeking love and affection.  She plays hard with her buddies and loves laying in the sun outside.  She's usually the last one that wants to come inside.  She is a silly girl and loves to drink out of the faucet and dunk her head in a large bowl of water.  Ice is one of her favorite treats.  Yes she figured out the ice maker as well.  She's the only one that will go near a swimming pool and has occasionally jumped in with daddy.  She is such blessing to our program!

We can't believe she has finally entered this stage.  She is a very late bloomer.  But Thank God she has begun.  Her and Drago should make DREAM BABIES!!  We will be pairing her with him very soon and two of the best bloodlines in the world in our opinion will come to fruition!  Lauer Danes lines and Austria Great Stars!  They will produce champion level heavy European babies that will just be breathtaking, Lord willing!!  Stay tuned but Christmas 2024 could be the time.
